Why won’t my legacy diffuser connect to the Kirri app?Updated a month ago
If you’re using a legacy diffuser such as the Macro Diffuser and previously controlled it through the Scent Australia app, connection issues with the Kirri app are usually caused by overlapping schedules between the two apps.
To fix this, you’ll need to reset the diffuser and clear any old schedules.
Step 1: Clear the old Scent Australia app
- Close the Kirri app completely
- Reinstall the Scent Australia app
- Open the Scent Australia app and remove all schedules
- Close the Scent Australia app
Step 2: Reset inside the Kirri app
- Open the Kirri app
- Go to Manage Diffuser
- Slide your diffuser name to the left until the red trash icon appears, then remove it
- Re-add your diffuser
- Set up your schedule again
Once everything is running properly, you can delete the Scent Australia app.
This process clears any conflicting schedules so your diffuser can follow the Kirri app correctly.
