What’s the Difference Between the New and Previous kirri Car Diffuser?Updated 17 days ago
The kirri Car Diffuser has changed over time as we continued refining the experience.
Our previous design used a ceramic vent diffuser. The current kirri Car Diffuser moves to a refillable passive diffusion system with adjustable intensity and a longer fragrance cycle.
Both create fragrance within the vehicle, though they work differently.

Previous Ceramic Vent Diffuser
The ceramic vent diffuser used a porous ceramic insert that absorbed fragrance and gradually released it back into the vehicle.
As the scent reduced, additional fragrance would usually be applied to refresh performance.
Fragrance intensity could vary depending on airflow, vent use, and environmental conditions.
Current kirri Car Diffuser
The current kirri Car Diffuser was developed as a refillable passive diffusion system.
Using a fragrance reservoir, reed insert, and adjustable top dial, scent intensity can be increased or softened depending on preference.
For stronger fragrance, the reed can also be flipped periodically to refresh saturation.
The result is a longer-lasting fragrance experience designed for everyday use while reducing repeated top ups.
