Can I add Kirri fragrance to my washing machine?Updated 9 days ago

Short answer yes, with care. Our fine fragrance oils are designed for air scenting, not laundry, so if you choose to use them in the wash please do so sparingly and at your own discretion.

How to do it safely

  1. Mix first
Add a very small amount to your liquid detergent before it goes into the machine. Start with 2 to 3 drops per full load and adjust over time.

  2. Never apply directly to fabric
Undiluted fragrance can mark fibres and leave oil spots. Always disperse it in liquid detergent or pre-mix in a cup of warm water with a little detergent to help it blend.

  3. Choose the right cycle and fabrics
Avoid delicate items and dry-clean only garments. Wash promptly. Do not use with fabric softener pods or sheets in the same load.

Important notes

• Staining risk
Applying fragrance directly to clothing can stain. Pre-mixing reduces this risk but does not remove it entirely.
 • Product intent
Our oils are created for air diffusion. They are concentrated and can affect surfaces and fabrics if misused.
 • No responsibility for laundry use
Kirri does not test or warrant the oils for laundry applications. Any fabric or machine damage from non standard use is not covered.

Our recommendation

If you try this, keep it light, test on a small, dark towel first, and increase gradually only if you are happy with the result. If you prefer a guaranteed laundry outcome, consider products formulated specifically for washing.
