Beacon does not contain a battery. It must be plugged into power to operate. If a light or the screen lingers for a moment after unplugging, that is residual power in the circuitry, not a battery.

Why there is no battery

Beacon uses a high performance pump that delivers a smooth, consistent fragrance output. A battery that could run this kind of pump for long periods would need to be large and heavy. That would affect size, heat management and longevity. Current battery technology that fits our refined form factor cannot power the pump for extended time. Mains power gives the most stable and efficient result.

Scenting guidance

The best outcome comes from light, continuous diffusion over time rather than short, strong bursts. Scent moves through air, fabrics and surfaces gradually. In larger rooms it can take weeks, even months, for the fragrance to permeate beautifully. Set a gentle intensity and allow the atmosphere to build.

Tips for best performance

• Use the supplied adaptor and a reliable outlet.

• Pause the unit in the app before moving it, then reconnect power.

• Place Beacon where cable access is easy so it can remain connected during everyday use.

Troubleshooting
