Which probe goes in my Beacon diffuser, and which way up?Updated 3 hours ago
Your Beacon comes with two probes (the thin tube that draws oil up from the bottle). Using the right one, the right way up, is the most common fix when a new Beacon isn't scenting.
- 100ml oil: use the long probe. It comes already fitted in your Beacon
- 30ml oil: swap to the short probe, which is in the box
- Which way up: the end that's partly sealed, with tiny filter holes, goes down into the oil. The open end goes up to the nozzle
- Fit it firmly: push the probe all the way in so there's no gap at the nozzle
Once the probe is in, screw the bottle on, switch the Beacon on and start on the delicate setting. Scent builds over a few days.
